Im not one to cast doubt on the merits and reliability of any scooter, I love them all. However I have heard it said in the past that the easiest way to take up walking is to buy a lambretta, a claim most lambretta owners would doubtless deny! But here we have it, straight fom the horses mouth in an interview with a top chef and collector of lambrettas, the real reasons to own one of these beautiful machines. Reasons to buy a lambretta.

Im starting ,
a new feature called captured in the wild, it wont be regular and probably a bit half arsed. This is where I accost scooterists in the street and put them on my site. Bagged this example the other day outside asda, americans can read that as walmart or something.
As you can see the owner of the scooter who later identified himself as mark looked a little 
nervous and can you blame him ? I literally ran across the carpark shouting at him to stop and demanded a photograph. When his nerves had settled a bit he confided in me that he has been in the scooter scene for years and restores them himself, including the one in the picture. The photo doesnt do it any justice however, the paint has silver sparkles in it that really catch the light and there are lots of details that cant be seen such as pointed bolt heads and a star shaped brake light that looks totally different from the standard px offering. So thanks for stopping mate and if you see this, send in some more pictures and tell us how you went about the paint job yourself. Any tips gratefully recieved. Bigger picture in the gallery.

I dont really know
who jessica stroup is but she is learning to ride a scooter, which is nice. you can see her wobbling about on a vespa . If your more celeb savvy than I am, maybe you can telll me who she is!
