Disaster!!
While minding my own business, riding my vespa px 200 trying to get a bit of christmas shopping in, I was dealt a heavy blow. Literally. Some bloke drives across my lane from a junction behind parked cars, forcing me into a shall i go around or over the top situation.
I chose around, seems im something of a coward in these life threatening moments because without really thinking at all i tried to drive around his car at 30mph.
I have to say i had very little success because the next thing you know i was bouncing down the road on my back, arse and head by the feel of it. I will mend, my poor scooter will not im afraid to say. My baby is dead, no more, deaceased, it is in fact a complete write off. Hardly surprising when you note that its just about folded in half.
dont worry, that will polish straight out.
Moral of the story is, always wear protective clothing and have plenty of insurance. Sadly your going to need it. More pictures in the gallery.
