You may,
have noticed a change in the look of the site, well done. I wanted to squeeze the radio station in on the right there. If you havent allowed the active content your missing a treat, free northern soul radio!! What next? Is there no end to my kindness? Just click on the play button, there may be one or two cheesy adverts at the start but the music is well worth it. It will open in a new window, just minimise it and you can browse around to some soulful tracks. I am a saint.
One of
the first times many of us noticed scooters was when seeing quadraphenia for the first time, we all knew scooters were there but hadnt really looked at them or the lifestyle that surrounds them right? Well this month is the 30th anniversary of its release, thats right 30 years! Click on the link to read one mans account of his first scooter rideout experience . Its well written and really reminds me of my first long scooter ride (cleethorpes 03 I think).
An article
about the deep friendships that develop in the scooter community here. A touching piece about a man who has turned a scooter into a memorial to his late friend. A quick glance at the personals in any scooter magazine will show you the comaraderie that exists between scooter riders. Its part of the reason I love it as much as I do.
The problems
page has been removed as it wasnt getting used, I know the personals page is dusty and untouched but I remain hopeful that someone will eventually want to use it. Odd because I know its a very popular part of scooter magazines! To use the personals either use the form on the contact page or email me at jay@scootlink.com.
There
are loads of brilliant pictures of customised lambrettas and vespas in kennys new yorkshire invasion set here. Check out the chop style scooters, totally awesome I just dont think I could ride them! Before I forget, how about a link on your site kenny you old sod lol!

The guy who invented the segway ( that two wheeled balancey drive about trolley thing) is in the process of designing a scooter that will run on anything! Well any thing that will burn, speeding tickets, pizza shop menus, old phone books anything! Wonder if he can retro fit my px200? Check out the scooter that will run on anything here.
If your into
the whole retro look of the scooter scene, why not have one in your bedroom or in your living room? Or at least one of these brilliant vespa silhouette wall stickers, I think one of these would be great but the missus would likely kill me if i stuck one up at home. A man can dream though.
Ever fancy being a
film star? well nows your chance. Vintage scooter riders of the mod persuaion are needed in big numbers later this month at brighton for a remake of brighton rock. Fancy giving it a bash? Mod scooterist extras required
